Explaining odd physical reactions

Our body sometimes manifests strange physical reactions that leave us wondering. We cry when we cut onions (there is a solution to this!). We shiver with goosebumps. We laugh when we're sad or cry when we're upset. It can be a mystery, or not... Prevention magazine's editor explains why our bodies sometimes do what they do:

Do jumping jacks
Jog in place
Stretch your whole body
Lift weights!
Do calisthenics
