When clients are in pain, our Higher Spa staff perform an initial intake. We ask them about their injuries, physical history, and lifestyle habits like exercise. Clients who have recently sustained an injury will often attribute their pain to that one injury, or single event.
However, pain in back muscles may arise from past trauma. And this does not necessarily mean past events. Find out more about your body's past injuries, micro-trauma, and muscle history. Learn how habits can make your back muscles vulnerable to damage:

As you start to get a picture of how your back muscles got to their painful state, then you can look at how to treat that pain. If you focus on the one event or accident, you will impede your own abilities to heal.
