Toddler and child car seats are failing safety standards. There are several reasons why one seat is less safe than another, or deemed unsafe by crash-tests. This short video clip describes some of the features a child seat needs for safety, and which brands' seats aren't passing the tests:
If you have a toddler or young child, you value their safety. Their health is your biggest priority. You especially want them safe when riding in a car. It's important to check consumer institutions' ratings, and not to simply trust a brand when you buy.
