Several countries have declared that playing video games can be addictive. Does your child have an addiction? Do they get mentally obsessed, or preoccupied, over their gaming habits?

So, are the games themselves the problem? And, Do some games have more addicting qualities than others?
The countries that are serious about this addiction, and helping their children overcome it, have indicated that the social aspects are part of the problem. Children who have social challenges, or anti-social tendencies, are getting help.
Another question: Will a history of playing video games throughout childhood lead to adult problems? Does gaming addiction lead to other addictions? Do more extreme social dysfunctions arise?
These are all questions that researchers can explore as generations are now being raised playing video games.
