Are you in pain? How did you get there? Did your pain come on suddenly, from an accident, or gradually?

Pain is an important signal. Even if we don't like its discomfort, we must respect pain and understand its purpose. Practice tuning in to your pain. What are your muscles trying to tell you? What is your body feeling, beyond the pain? Are there deeper connections to these painful symptoms?

For recovery, try to understand therapeutic pain. If you avoid going through it, you may force your body to stay in an injured state longer.
